I confess. I watched this on Friday. And enjoyed it. A lot. Mostly for Gerard Butler's torso. It is an awe inspiring work of beauty. Seriously! But, I did also enjoy the sum of 1 part Lord of the Rings, 1 part Clash of the Titans and 1 part Rome. My brother accused me of being a fantasy geek. I guess I kind of am. And Rodrigo Santoro should not have even gotten a credit as he is so unrecognizable as Xerxes. I tried really hard. Reeeaaaallly hard to pick out his pretty features and it was near impossible. Occasionally I could trace his lips and nose, but don't go into this thinking you'll get to lust after him.
