And this one will be brief, because there was not nearly so much kuh-raziness to ponder as last week, though still a solid show.
Darn you Charlie! Just when I go and get myself all psyched up to watch you die for reals, you go and make me cry my eyes out throughout the show. His 5 "greatest hits list" meant to be given to Claire after Desmond's premonition played out with "meeting you" as #1...his goodbye to Aaron and Claire when he told "Turniphead" he loved him...when he processed Desmond's flash meaning he had to cowboy up and drown for Claire and Aaron to be rescued...Hurley's "I love you man" and his return I love you too...Leaving the DS ring in Aaron's crib so it would stay "in the family" as brother Liam insisted it do (and yeah, funny that I was just discussing LOTR with Massi yesterday. I was just waiting for Liam to refer to it as "the one true ring" that Charlie had to guard.) Very fine acting Dom. And I always do love the episode that presents the opportunity for me to have "You all, Everybody" stuck in my head for days on end.
Other good stuff:
You go Karl and Alex (or Karlex as I just saw them dubbed.) Good warning/gun running mission. And when Alex queried "is he my father?" to Karl re: Ben. Interesting.
Nadia! As in Sayid's Nadia. That's who Charlie saved in the Manchester alley. Wild. She's now been in Locke and Charlie's flashbacks in addition to Sayid. Wonder if anyone's mapped out all the overlap connecting these guys in their previous lives. I imagine it's out there on the web somewhere.
And Sayid. Awesome as always. Love how he sent Jack off with his tail between his legs to lead the troops to the radio tower.
Danielle! Good work joining with Jack and Juliet on mission rig the tents with lethal TNT. That is, if Jack and Juliet are really working for the forces of good now.
Rose and Bernard! Alive and well and sweetly bickering away. Though I wonder if Bernard will be a casualty of the final showdown as he's stepped up for operation shoot the dynamite laden tents. Hope not.
Richard Alpert?? He of the well lined eyes. Clearly knows Ben is off his rocker. Will he do anything about it?
Was Jack telling Kate that he loved her in the preview or was that an editing trick?
I can hardly wait for next Wednesday and am trying my darndest to stay away from the spoilers.

Lost Spoiler Alert!
This show remains the biggest mindf&%* on TV. I am consistently dumbfounded and confounded and yet, there's no way I can quit it!
I've always been a fan of the Sun/Jin flashbacks. They don't have the in-your-face you already knew this, but Christian Shepard is Claire's father quality to them, but they are some of the best in terms of subtle character development. So in this Sun flash we learned that Jin was forced to become a gansta henchman for Pappa Paik as a trade off because Sun begged 150 grand from him to pay off a bribe to Jin's long lost ho of a mamma so that Jin would never have to learn he was a prostitute's son -- Parent issues anyone?? It was all so 'Gift of a Magi'. Sort of. And also, Sun had a kickin' wardrobe back in the day. She looked absolutely fab in every scene.
Now of course, it's really the Island activities that leave me going what in the...Oh, where to begin...Jack starts asking Sun all kinds of icky, creepy personal questions about the status of her pregnancy that would be fine coming from your Ob in a clinical setting, but it's Jack and it's the island and Ick. Doesn't take her long to figure out that there's something fishy about the outcomes of island pregnancies. I won't recap in full, but she hits up Kate, then Juliet for info and in that cool, expressionless way of hers, Juliet tells her she's a goner. IF the baby was conceived on the island - and we know from Sun's sneaking around w/ the disturbingly appealing baldy heir of an English tutor who went splat and Jin's apparently low sperm count that that's a big IF in this case. But wait! The island has the magic ability to increase the male sperm count 5 or 6 fold. WHAT?! Ok, I've had to buy curing cancer and paralysis, but what? Pretty convenient huh? Or it would be if all fetuses didn't kill their mother's midway through the second trimester! So Juliet drags Sun out to the medical hatch in the middle of the night to perform an ultrasound to determine when she conceived and leaves me w/ some small bit of hope that she's not PURE EVIL as I was beginning to believe a couple eps back. She does seem to derive joy from providing expectant mothers good news (and by that I do mean "good" news -- Jin's the daddy and he'd be doing the Larry Birkhead happy dance right about now if he only knew of Sun's cheating ways, but sorry Sun, again, you're a goner) and her spitting out"I hate you" after reporting to Ben on the status of the wombs of the Island's women was pretty convincing...
Now back to Des and his band of merry men where we left them last week freeing "not Penny (NP)" from the tree she parachuted into. Who is this chick? The Portuguese translation of "Catch 22" she was carrying leads me to believe she's associated with the Portuguese speaking guys at the arctic station apparently tracking Des for Penny at last season's finale. But then she spoke about 5 different languages in effort to communicate to our boys that she was dying. And that's probably neither here nor there, because the real reveals from this storyline are still to come. When Hurley dumbly shoots a flare gun to the heavens, who comes flashing through the jungle in response? MIKHAIL (aka Patchy)! As in the not too long ago foaming at the mouth and violently convulsing and DEAD after Locke threw him into the security fence Mikhail. At this point, I shouted SHUT UP at my TV, then promptly put a pillow to my mouth in recognition that if I woke Leila during this hour and had to tend to her, I would be less than amused. Conveniently enough, he was a medic during his Russian army service (did we know this? I just pegged him for a communication/intel type) and he manages to go all Grey's Anatomy on us and save NP's life. Good thing he does, because the news she relays to Hurley at the end is the true stunner of the episode (as if there were not enough already...) They could not possibly be survivors of flight 815 out of Australia because that wreckage was found and there were no survivors. They were all dead! Cue Twilight Zone music here. Oh where, oh where are we going with this? The creators have repeatedly pledged that these cats aren't dead/in purgatory. I can't help but be reminded of the Nicole Kidman movie The OTHERS(!) in which she and her children did not know they were dead...That's about all I've got. Next week should be good too. I can't help but be hugely curious about Locke's motives these days.
